Drum Like An Animal is a music, movement and drumming class created by Rhythm Kids owner Tom Foote for children ages 3.5-5 with a parent or caregiver. This class was created by the demand from the many parents who didn't want their children to stop music after Music Together classes. This is a fun, energetic class that gets kids wiggling, drumming (cool, authentic-inspired African rhythms) and playing age-appropriate games and activities.

This eight (8) week class combines drumming with movement and other activities that kids and families really enjoy. In a Drum Like An Animal class you can expect to learn a whole lot and even sweat a little bit (just a little bit, we promise) in 45-minutes. Children also begin to learn more advanced musical and social concepts at a pace they can handle.

Registration Fee Includes:

• One (1) copy of Drum Like An Animal by Tom Foote (first time registrants only)
• Eight (8), 45-minute classes with the ability to make-up two (2) per session
• An endangered animal T-Shirt (they are awesome and look cool) each session
• The amazing transformation of watching your pots and pans turn into drums (sorry!)

• We get to improvise and solo on a drum (that the instructor brings each week)
• Stretching, wiggling and moving to the beat is pretty commonplace
• We learn different rhythms about different endangered animals in a fun way
• We make up our own moves with sticks, shakers and drums
• We dance (like Pirates, Monkeys, Dinosaurs & Tractors--the list goes on believe me!)
• Games are a part of the action too (traditional games and newly created, kid-friendly games)
