Rhythm Kids™ Where Families Come to Sing, Dance & Drum!
Rhythm Kids Curriculum

The Rhythm Kids curriculum was specifically developed after more than 10 years of experience with children of all ages in a variety of settings including; music classes, music education supplemental curriculum, large assemblies, small and mid-size workshops, plus much more. It also has been tested with a variety of age groups from children in Preschool, Elementary School, Middle School and High School. Although flexible enough for all ages, our program is geared toward elementary age students and younger (ages ten and younger).

Core Curriculum Areas:

Drumming:
Our top notch rhythm and drumming program gets kids playing totally cool traditional rhythm patterns that have been endorsed by music educators, college professors and Master Drummers alike. In our innovative style, children learn about other cultures and endangered animals while they play drums.

Movement:
Part of learning to drum is for children to learn to move, to stretch and to dance. Along with developing an awareness of healthy habits through stretching, yoga poses and mild exercise, children are encouraged to express themselves and to engage the class in movement ideas.

Play:
You've heard the saying "work hard, play hard!" Rhythm Kids brings that to all of our classes with a variety of activities and games that kids absolutely LOVE. We play games from around the world and games we have created that bring on the FUN and are often based around musical concepts.

Character:
We want children to learn more than just drumming, so our facilitators are given several different methods and strategies to help children develop character (respect, oomph! (giving their best), communication, kindness and smiles)...an acronym for ROCKS!

This is the class that kids go home and talk about week after week!
